Available October through January
(Custom dates and private sessions available)
Includes location guidance, in-field instruction, and post-session Q&A. Does not include lodging or meals.
We follow strict wildlife photography ethics to protect these birds. All birds are photographed from a respectful distance, outside marked zones, using long lenses and a quiet approach.
Do I need to be a professional photographer to attend?
Not at all! All experience levels are welcome. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned pro looking to capture new eagle behavior, you’ll benefit from this workshop.
What camera gear do you recommend?
A full-frame DSLR or mirrorless camera with a lens of 400mm or longer is ideal. A 300mm lens with a crop sensor or teleconverter can work too. Tripods and remote shutter are recommended.
Can I book a private session?
Yes, absolutely. Private 1-on-1 sessions are available and can be customized to your needs. Just reach out for availability and pricing.
Are the eagles easy to find?
Yes! Cape Coral’s eagle population is dense and active during nesting season. We scout in advance to ensure excellent photo opportunities with minimal walking required.
What if the weather is bad?
We’ll keep a close eye on the forecast. If weather conditions force a cancellation, you’ll have the option to reschedule or receive a refund. Rain without lightning can provide an excellent opportunity for rarer photos if you bring rain gear for your camera equipment.
Will you help with editing or photo critiques?
Yes. Optional add-on sessions for post-processing and image reviews are available upon request.
Spaces are limited to protect the eagles and ensure a quality experience.
